Talea coffee bar is the official refreshment point of the Palermo Botanical Garden. More than just a café, it is an oasis of design and nature where organic cuisine meets botanical experimentation, offering a sensory journey that accompanies every moment of the day.
From morning to evening, from breakfast to afternoon tea to aperitifs, you can immerse yourself in a totally green setting, enjoying organic cuisine alongside original cocktails that draw on the immense botanical heritage of the Garden, particularly its aromatic herbs, combining research and experimentation.
Located in the charming former Fern Greenhouse, Talea is an example of the integration of contemporary architecture and nature. The structure is protected from the sun's rays by innovative metal brise-soleil: light metal leaves of Ginkgo biloba that seem to have settled on the roof, carried by the wind. This play of shapes not only enchants the eye, but also creates soft lighting and a perfect microclimate for your break.
In 2021, Talea was named one of the Bar Awards' Bar Revelations of the Year (Italian Top 10) by Bargiornale.
Practical information
How to access
During the Garden's opening hours: access is reserved for visitors with a valid admission ticket.
Special openings: at certain times of the year, Talea remains open after the Garden's closing time (with separate access).
